I have much the same issue. I often shoot 10 to 20 gig of data a day. I am mr paronoid and try to keep two complete copies of the data. I of course carry a laptop but 1) need an alternative in case it breaks or I break it. 2) I am often away from the system for an entire day and it forces me to carry 20 or 30 gigs of cards. I have tried most of the portable devices. All but two just aren't fast enough. The new Jobo Pro is good. I just bought the hyperdrive. I like it because it is very fast (empies a 8 gig card in about tem minutes. It has a stone simple interface. It has a simple foldering system that creates a new folder each time you insert a card. My management software is now set up that when I plug in the drive to my laptop or desktop it knows how to deal with the folders. The hard drives can be exchanged in about 1 minute if needed.
