Okay you Aussie lovers.... I am getting work ready for the National in WI and I am doing a piece like I showed of the Siberians only of course using Aussies. Please give me you opinion on this lay out.

I was lucky to fall in love with a dog I saw at a local dog show last summer and I just kept shooting him. Well, he won his class, group and then went on to win BIS. Earlier this year he won Crufts! I have included him on this work and frankly would do a whole piece just on him. What a great dog . How lucky you are you Aussie lovers. What a nice breed! [image][/image]

Beautiful expressions and attitudes, lovely work with them PeggySue - what size is the "original" to be? And what are the Nationals - is it a photographic or dog-show or fine-art event?

The National Specialty will be held in Wisconsin this year and there will be approx. 2500 Aussies attending! Talk about pup overload. I wil have art stuff and of course wandering around with my camera! A commercial booth space is where the stuff will be offered for the hopeful many buyers. I am trying an approach that is to stay with breed specific shows that I can build up a body of work and try to present different things to sell.
This year is also the National Specialty for Siberians in my own state (which of course is sometimes a state of confusion!) I am currently in a sculpture class where I swear I will take up skeet shooting to get rid of most of what I have been working on.
Here is a sample of the throw I am having made from the design I showed with my pup in front of it. That should show the scale. The Sib "National", I have rented a Booth for art and may also rent another for portrait space. I am torn between wanting to be ringside with my stuff and watching the show and trying to make money! Always a delemia - right? Trying to make money at what we love to do! [image][/image]

Chris, I love your second photo of the pair racing. Great composition, energy and all the tech stuff are right on!
