... Abby ... Chip ...
They're lovely Scott, beautiful relaxed poses. Doubly beautiful because their ears are they way they're meant to be.
Thanks for your comments. We got both these guys from a local Doberman Rescue group.
Cheers,

Great dogs Scott. Glad to see people using the rescues!! Don't tell Chip but he looks a little like a wiener dog in that shot:) You would be hard pressed to catch my Dobie mix in a pose like that. As long as the sun shines and people are moving she is up and about:)
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. Chip has slowed down a lot. He's around 12 y.o. and that's quite ancient for a dobe. We thought he was a gonner last year but a new drug called Rymndil has given him a surprising amount of energy.

Scott, We had discussed Rimadyl but settled on the Deramaxx. Cas already has questionable liver values and the Rimadyl may work too good. See, Cas kept running to hard and injuring herself. The Rymadyl may do such a good job that she'd run harder and hurt herself wore. So the Deramaxx gave her some relief but some discomfort remains acting like a governor or reminder to slow down. She still NEVER sits still until bed time. She is slowing down finally, but for most people she is funny to watch. She even skratches herself standing up, you know where most dogs sit to use their hind leg to itch an ear for example. Like this shot, she was commanded to lay down and STAY. See the posture, she is awaiting the release command:)
Thanks,
Jeff

Ha ha, I thought your dog was named Deramaxx! She's lovely and it's remarkable she's still so energetic. Yep, I think Rimadyl might be too much for her since my 12 y.o. dobe, Chip, thinks he's about 5 and runs and plays with Abby.
For the animals,
