I like the interpretation comment, I am "garden challenged" and was walking around with Hallie yesterday at my cousins looking for some good weeds and having no idea what was a weed and what wasn't. I did find something I just hope it wasn't thier prize flowering something or another LOL. My Dad always said a weed was just anything growing where you didn't want it. I like dandelions too and I love scotch broom, everyone here hates the stuff but I can see painting a black Friesian horse among all those yellow blooms...

The up side of the bugs was it was really cold out so they were just thawing out and moving very slowly...easy to get 'em with the vacuum!

Ahh! Next challenge would be a BIG challenge...to make myself look good in a photo will take some major skills LOL! I like it though! Lets do it.

Atta boy Tony! And as usual you are great with titles - growing like weeds is perfect. There is such fun in that first image.
Thanks for posting these.

In the pacific NW....we call the weeds here "Moss" and "Ferns"....oh....and dem dere stick trees with no leaves (which allows you to see the moss....lol)

Dem bigger weeds...dair called evergreens.

Sorry...couldnt resist.

Oh....and here is our 6"- 4" 16 year old weed I often take on hikes just so I can snap a picture of a weed. It is our son Cameron...who I can often roust out of bed for an early hike from time to time.

We keep spraying his toes with roundup....but the darned thing keeps growing!!!!

A 6'4" weed that gets up early in the morning??? Wow, you really are lucky to have both those pesky things around you. Isn't it fun to think of weeds in such a positive way? I just saw a program that an area in Ireland has been taken over by azeleas. It has smothered all the natural ground cover. AZELEAS! I have tried for years to grow this plant and have never thought of it as a weed. Amazing how one word can present so many different interpretations.
Thanks so much for joining in on the challenge. Your work is very inspirational.

I am starting to get a bit desparate. You guys are really putting up some nice stuff, and so far I have NOTHING.
