I just got back from the second day of the andalusian show. I love this breed. This stallion is breathtaking in person, he won his classes today as well. My friends that own him, traded their Friesian stallion (my favorite!! I wanted him he was trained to do all kinds of things, rearing, bowing, piaffe, spanish walk, etc) for this stallion and another one. These 2 are more well bred than the Friesian but the Friesian was trained so well. This guys withers are as tall as my head and I'm really tall!

This was just before the light got really golden but it still made for some nice lightingI think. Wish his mane and tail were out but the trainer had just braided it all up again for the night.

Oh Dee Dee,
You're right! He is magnificent!
What a shot, though had his mane been down! Just that extra bit!
That cloud shows an interesting contrast with his head.
Nice!

I agree, beautiful. I think that I might want to clone out the lead though. Appropriate?

Yeah, clone out the lead, though I have to admit to not noticing it before!

An observation?
I would crop up to the hooves..omit the slant concrete..?
It would seem that that little bit, could easily take out your copyright??
A learning observation?~

I had thought about cloning out the lead on this and I tried it but I liked it better with the lead in. Maybe I am just used to seeing photos with the lead on in the ring. I really like the halters, they all have different colors with the rosettes on the sides and the lead clips on to the front of the halter rather than underneath like what we usually see. (those rosettes aren't his winnings, they are a part of the halter, all the horses had similar halters but with different colors).

Marta do you mean that this could easily be stolen? I did think of putting a big copyright over the top, I hate doing that but probably a good idea. Thanks. I'll go change it. I too wish his mane and tail had been loose..but the nice thing is when I paint him I can give him a long mane and tail.

OK I added the copyrights...overkill?
I have put copyrights on this on my art and still found people who have stolen them and are selling them after removing the copyrights. If someone could invent a foolproof way of protecting images on the net, they'd be rich!

I don't put large copyrights on my photos, as I don't like the look. I do size them no larger than 600px on the long side. I wouldn't crop to the hooves as it will give nothing for the horse to stand on. Just would lose its balance to me

Thieves are thieves. They just find new ways to steal

I only meant the slanted part of the concrete(left part of the photo). To me, its distracting. Less so than the lead~
