The first 2 are from Springbrook National Park (Au) a little ways outside of Gold Coast/Brisbane area. What I found interesting was this park was maybe a mile long at most, and half a mile wide at most. Very tiny. I guess I'm just used to most of the US National Parks being huge chunks of land.
The others are from Blue Mountains National Park (Au) which is 2-3 hours outside of Sydney, and probably one of the staples of the Australian National Park system along with the Reef and World Heritage Rain Forest.
I'll be posting some more from Blue Mountains, still working on getting everything off the laptop and on the main PC, catching up on work is getting in the way however.
1. Cougal Cascades, Springbrook
2. Not sure what kind of tree, but the trunks were interesting and had great color when sun hit them. Too bad it was almost always cloudy this day and family didn't let me stop for long.
3. Palm tree along a trail in Blue Mountains
4. The Three Sister, the icon formation of the Blue Mountains park.
