My shelter shoot with local celebrities, ended up with me doing modeling shots for comp cards, for the opera singer. Not only that, on the same days as the shelter shoot, I had a quickie shot with danes and whippets. Lady was going through town on her way to Greeneville.

So, Dottie got to be part of the modeling shoot and and then the rest are for advertising

There are more of her headshots and other shoots on my blog

-- that Great Dane is breath-taking. Magnificent.

Julie,
first of all, I'm amazed that spindly little girl could actually hold on to that powerful Whippet as it surged at the end of the lead ! OK, I admit that Whippets are a very elegant addition to the photos but I really think if you had wanted to show a dog actually pulling her, you should have borrowed Sundance.

The model pics are very nice overall and she and Dot make an attractive couple.

I like the Dane shots, especially the one with the big boy looking over his left shoulder. Great angle and he looks very powerful -- as is appropriate for a Great Dane.

The moving shot of the Whippet is very nice but the stacked shots look a little off to me in terms of pose. She doesn't look happy. Having said that, they're better than 90% of the Whippet shots I've taken.

Glad you had fun and these are a nice addition to your ever-growing portfolio.

The whippet is off on the stack. She is 5m and if you try and hand stack her, she turns into a icky hairpin. Kinda like Cinnamon does. We(Cathy and I) have learned that some whippets just kink up if you mess with them.

If her back legs would have been pulled to perpendicular, it would have been great. Sometimes close is good enough! Even though it isn't correct. You are 100% right though, the stack is off.

Julie,
I didn't realize the Whippet was a puppy. In that case, something is definitely better than nothing on a free-bait. I'm amazed you got her looking that good.

Your images have a texture to them that is very nice -- especially the "fashion" shots. What did you do to get that look?

Very nice, Julie. I love the Whippet headshot #14 and #8 Dane head shot. OK -- who is the Dane(s)?

That is Ch Marvo Cast a spell on Derby N Shady Creek "Warlock"

She was going through town on the way to Greenville and the puppy owner(one of his puppies) set it up really quick. Time of day was all wrong, but, it was what we had

Here is the puppy's pedigree

Ahh -- thought I knew the dog. I actually did a photoshoot of his mother a couple of weeks ago. His mother's call name is "Coven".
