I once bought a book called The Dog Observed which documents pictures of dogs from as far back as 1844. For some reason, these old black and white and sepia images have captivated me. I have been playing around a lot with different methods of editing and this is one I did recently.

That's quite an idea. And realised in fine style.
nonetheless, I think that the picture had even gained had your camera been positioned another 20cm further down and with the dog having a little more space on the right side.

Neat, the fuzziness of the dog lends itself well to the look.

Creating a "vintage" look can be effective. Here is a "look" that just happened as Long Legs was on her back in the front of my grooming studio. Going to black and white gives it a whole other meaning.

Nice job on your image.
