I had to drive 400 miles today round trip for my photography job and on the way home, this little guy just begged me to take his photo. No cropping and taken with a 300mm lens. Yes I was that close to him.

Dave, as you know, I love to photograph sheep. That little guy is a great catch, especially because in most places it's hard to get close to those sheep.

The exposure looks good, but I think it's a bit warm. Is it a raw file? Maybe a little cooler and some sharpening would give it a punch! I think those darn drill holes are a little distracting too, but I'll get over that!!!!!!!!!

Nonetheless, I'm hardly a critic, youre an accomplished photographer in your own right. . .

LOL. Tony, there is nothing wrong with being a critic. I love the sheep as well. My wife and I only got chances to photograph sheep last year in Yellowstone for the first time (really, in the Elk Refuge in Jackson). It was quite a treat.

Must have been Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep as Dall sheep are only found in Yukon and Alaska that I know of. BC has Stone sheep.

i think alberta has a few dalls too
