Sun road now is open both directions, I'm headed back up today. . . Here's a shot from early yesterday morning. I've shot this particular composition 100 different times on a 100 different days, and it's about 1 in 198 times that you get the "right" conditions, this one was close, but still I like it anyway. . .

I like it too. It has a pastel sense about it. Unpolarized. Very nice.

Wooo Hooo!!!!!! Good news and only a couple of weeks until I get up there. Nice shot too. You know, that's the site of my first bear incidence at Glacier back in the 90s. Shooting right there by the road when a small grizzly ( I had heard it but did not recognize the sound) popped up from the brush off to my right. I slowly backed away and to my car shooting as I went. Needless to say , the few shots from this are bleary due to motion, ie's shaking hands, LOL!! Seriously though folks, this spot is right off the road yet I did run into a bear hear early one morning. Keep aware of your surroundings no matter where you are in the park. Keep the update rolling Tony, it's great getting you insight on the current happenings in the park!
