Eastern Sierra

Eastern Sierra - 04/05/06 03:06 AM

A few shots that I took last week during my short trip to Eastern Sierra. There was a huge storm the day before I took these photos. Fortunately it cleared out and made for a pretty sunrise the next day.

Sierras on fire!!! Wow, Misha! Those are spectacular! Just remarkable colors on the mountains and the DOF is all the way from fore to far.

That must have been a memorable morning.

Best regards,

Dick:)

Amen to that. When I was up in Death Valley, every morning was up at 4:30 AM for the sunrise shoot. It is a magical time to be up and about.

I find morning and its associated light to be worth being a super early riser....will be doing that exactly tomorrow....to get to the tulip fields in the early AM before the sun rises.
