On the subject of Video

I've talked to a lot of handlers lately who seem positive about my offering video in addition to stills.

The D3s just isn't the tool to shoot video and stills at the same time. I think Canon has a leg up on Nikon in this department.

Anywho, the idea is to use a Wimberly flash bracket or similar to mount a video camera above my still camera so it would pan along with me.

I'm looking for something a step up from Flip video which the handlers love, but not quite a $10k camera either.

Any thoughts on something that might work in this application?

Hey Jim,

Funny that you should post this. I just put up a very similar question about video in the pro forum. I am trying to figure out if it is really necessary to incorporate - and if so, how.....
