James,
The 3rd and 4th pictures are just red x's. And image 14 isn't showing either.

Hi James, my photo isn't here. Is this just a mini list?

Hi,

I think it is not 'showing up.' We have 3 files that for some reason I cannot get to display. We have been dealing with a high volume of bandwidth due to the E-510 review by John Isaac, and I am hoping that this will clear itself out over the next day or so.

James

PS Your photo was the one of the kitty in the greenery, yes?

Hi James,
One of the images isn't showing up because the link is missing an [ before the closing [/image]

You have:
... kitten_14.jpg/image]

My image (Cubie with ball) is one of the red x's. ;-(
Looking at the link it seems different from the links for the others. Both the red x links have the character # in them, while none of the other, showing links do. Could the link be mistyped?

Hey Everyone,

We have the picture, #14, fixed. The other two 'red boxes' I don't see. I put a # sign in some of the file names when I uploaded them to the server.

James,
I was wondering if you thought it was OK to enter the following image of our Red Girl at 2 weeks of age.

I assure you there was no PhotoShop work done on the original image at all -- it was her favorite hat .

James, the missing two are photos #3 and #4. I've tried to view them by directly accessing their links but get "The webpage cannot be found".

I can't figure out why they aren't showing up, but links to the contest provides the links:

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately, we cannot accept new entries into the contest. I wish that we could, but we have to be fair about it, and the last day of the contest was June 16th. We are still waiting for all of the moderators to vote on them.

Hey Guys,

We are still finishing the voting on this contest. I apologize that it has taken a bit longer than expected to pick a winner. I hope to have one before the July newsletter goes out.

Thank you so much. I'm honored. There were several photographs that I thought had me beat, so I'm doubly honored.

Yes there were some lovely shots entered Kristin, but I think the judges picked the right one for the winner, congratulations!

Sorry for not commenting sooner, Kristin. Congratulations! It's an excellent image and has many virtues including 'the eyes.' Nice work!

I was taught (and have come to appreciate more and more over time) that in animal photography if the eye(s) aren't right (in focus and bright, ideally with a visible catch-light) then it's not much of a photograph.

There were many fine entries. I enjoyed and learned something from each of them.
