Training on Kayak

Hi all,

this is the first day of training my best friend Savannah on my Kayak.
She took to it pretty fast and has great balance.

pretty cool Dale. She looks right at home up there. When you say training, is the training just to ride with you? Just out of curiosity, how did she get on to start?

Hi Bob ,

Yes, I was just training her to ride with me so I can take her down the river with me. This photo is of her in the pond in my back yard. I used the small life vest as a way to let her know that we're ready to go for a ride. At first she wasn't to interested and I had to just get a hold of her and place her in the kayak next to me. Once I was in the middle of the pond, she worked her way up to the front of the kayak. After the second day, I was able to pull the bow up to the dock and she just jumps on the bow and we're off.
