Ode to a Dog

The animal photography on this forum is very good. I don't pretend to do kids or animals, but I still like to mess around sometimes. Anybody who knows Scotties will appreciate this. Murray, because of his looks, got nick-named the "Rock Hudson of Scotties." But he had his scary side too. He was truly not afraid of anything (except thunder and fireworks).

What a lovely tribute to a dog who certainly lived up to the breed heritage.

Its always sad to see them go.

Hey Buddy,
that's a very cool ode. Murray was tough as nails -- as Scotties are supposed to be. They were bred to hunt rodents and he apparently did his job exceedingly well. They are feisty and in-your-face dogs and not for the weak-hearted.

My dad, who was born in Scotland, had his beloved Bonnie for 10 wonderful years and he adored her. Thank you for sharing Murray with us. He was a credit to his breed.

Jim
