From the National Dachshund Festival

This summer I attended the National Dachshund Festival in Ohio. Dress up prizes were awarded, first prize went to Cleo-pup-tra (not pictured here), yet I thought some might enjoy these snaps:

The National Dachshund Festival? You've got to be kidding!

I'd get lower -- on the ground in fact -- for some of these shots. The aerial views are OK but I'd feel closer to the subjects if you had shot them laying flat on your belly. And, yes, that's how I shoot short dogs .

I shoot wedding laying on the ground. If you had knees like mine, you'd spend a lot of time laying on the ground, too .
