Because this is how she looked when we got her a year ago as a rescue from a high-kill shelter. She was filthy and covered with sores and scabs from tick and flea infestations.


Sweetie is obviously not show quality but the quality of her love and loyalty knows no bounds...

Poor thing! Looks like she found the perfect loving home.

Well, she sure looks gorgeous now! Good job. Lovely portrait, too. I think that Sweetie found a perfect place to live the rest of her life.
