The Kids Are Growing Up - 07/27/10 09:49 PM
Well, our "Blue Suede" litter is now 8 months old and they've really started to turn into dogs. We had Ike/Blue Boy (Annihaus Blue Suede Combat Boots) here for a few days last week along with his mom, Juneau, when his dad Ron suffered a stroke. Ron is now back home and doing great but we enjoyed having the pups for a few days. I took some pics to update where they are in the overall maturation process.
First, here's a pic of Ike/Blue Boy at 5 months of age:

Here's Moxie (Annihaus Blue Suede Moccasins) at 5 months of age:
And a couple of shots of her today -- literally:
We have been fortunate enough to see all 5 of the puppies as they've been maturing and we're very pleased with the litter overall. The kids are the most loving litter we've ever bred. They enjoy being held, cuddled and snuggled. Whether they end up being Champions or great performance dogs is kinda irrelevant to us. They are great dogs with stable temperaments and a love of people and of life. Linda and I are very happy.
