surf dog

Hi all,
I don't know how many of you get a chance to go to dog surfing contests but I finally made it to my local one. It is a fund raiser for a local pet adoption center.
I spent most of the day in the surf taking photos. Here is a link to my write-up and gallery:

It is a mobleme gallery. I don't think iweb uses flash but it could be.
You can also see the gallery on my facebook page, just search for bark cheese and it is in the photo section.

I live within an hour of Del Mar but, didn't see any information on the Surf Dog Contest until it was too late! I have marked it on my calendar for next year. Now, if I only don't lose the calendar!

However, I am going to the Miramar Airshow tomorrow. Nothing to do with pets but, I wanted to mention that to let you know I am not completely in La-La Land!

How was the airshow? I could hear it at my place. I've been in the past when they had a balloon glow as part of the night show. It was something getting to watch the rocket truck from the tarmac amongst all the other stuff that lights up and makes lots of noise while waiting to be escorted back off stage.
I guess the balloons weren't exciting enough so they don't do that anymore.
