A tip...

Many craft stores such as Michaels in Southern California sell little plastic squeekers which are designed to be sewn into stuffed toys.

I hold one in my mouth and squeek it with my teeth when shooting dogs. The sound of the squeek directs the dog's eyes to look at the camera. I also have both hands free to use my camera.

The squeekers are dirt cheap, about twenty-five cents each.

Yep, great tip, PLUS if you remove the end from the tube that sticks out the side of the bulb, you can make even better squeaks just by blowing through it.

I can get pretty close to the sound of an injured rabbit that way which is great for certain dogs that just don't respond to a measly squeak.

Of course, you have to be careful not to swallow the thing!

Great tip Jim. I can just see you inhaling one and going to the emergency room. Doc asks what is wrong, you reply with a squeak!

Good idea, I've been looking for something to get the attention of some of the more "unattentive" cats.
