You'd probably get more responses if you put the photos inline here, vs just putting a link to your blog. It almost like driving traffic to your site vs really wanting to share

Thanks Julie. According to the 'posting rules', though, it's preferred to put a link to a website. See below. Just trying to follow the rules! :-)
(3) The maximum size for files to be embedded into a post is 250k. I strongly prefer, however, that people post links to their own sites instead. It helps us keep the site from becoming bogged down.

I think (could be wrong) that the preference is hosting images and linking to them is preferred over attachments.
You can link to your images and still have them show up in the post using image tags. Maybe James can clarify.

Obviously it didn't work....! :-(
I have taken the liberty of embedding the image fro you. Love those ears, BTW.

Thanks Jim! Can you show me the URL you inserted into the post to make the photo appear? I'll get the hang of this sooner or later! :-)

The image tag I use is [*img]url goes here [*/img]
Take out the asterisks.
A url for my images (hosted on pbase) looks like this
http://www.pbase.com/jimpoor/image/87900615/original.jpg
Put it between the image tags and you get:

Oh okay! I was just missing the image tag before and after the URL. Got it now! Thanks!
Really cute peke. My little peke is the same color. But, my baby is 11 weeks old.

Very pretty peke!! Do you do a lot of show dogs? I hope I didn't sound crabby, I do sometimes and its because I am usually doing 4 things at once and typing too quickly
You really will get more responses if people don't have to click back and forth.

Hi Julie -
You didn't sound crabby at all & I appreciate your help in figuring out how to best post images to the forum. Since I'm new, I just wanted to be sure I was doing it correctly. With Jim's help, I think I'm good to go and will insert the images right in the post from now on. I just started attending more dog and cat shows in 2010. I think I'm addicted! Photographing show candids is a good way of improving my pet photography skills. You can't beat moving dogs in low indoor light to force you to think quickly! :-)
