Nice! I really love the second one.
I've toyed with the idea of spending a few days hanging out at a local dog park doing candid photos and then talking to those who talk to me.

Yeah - I have gone back and forth with that a lot myself. NYC is 'dog park central' and there are tons of places to go and take photos of beasties. Some people can be very touchy though unless you are shooting your own dog in the parks.

When I bring my camera to the dog park, I also bring one of the dogs and concentrate on shooting my dog. If folks want me to shoot theirs, they ask. Fortunately, my guys are pretty social and really good in that type of situation. I've actually picked up several portrait sessions from doing that even though I don't actively promote it. If they like my candids, they usually ask me for something more formal.
