Tiny Tim and his mother, Layla who is a Maltese cross...
Tim was born in our home two days after we rescued Layla (who was very pregnant) from a Los Angeles, CA, high-kill shelter.
We suspect that Tim and his three siblings were fathered by a Chihuahua with very strong genes (since they don't look anything like Layla).
Layla has been adopted but has returmed to visit us for a week while her "furever" family is on vacation. Tim is leaving for a new home in the State of Washington.
