Here's Jimmy!

I just realized that I haven't introduced the latest addition to the Garvie menagerie: this is Jimmy (Acosta's Annihaus Outlaw Jesse James). He was 6 months old last month and he was a gift to us from a dear friend after the loss of Sundance earlier this year. Jimmy is actually named after me smile and Linda and I spent a fair amount of time with this litter before I agreed to take Jimmy. I loved the puppies but wasn't sure I was ready for a puppy at this point in time. But, when we got back from our month at Purina Farms in April shooting the PennVet Working Dog Conference and the Dalmatian National Specialty, I agreed to take him.

And what a special boy he is! Jimmy has never met a living thing he didn't love. He runs up to people and gives them kisses. He loves all the other dogs he's met. He chases butterflies. He gets the morning newspaper for me smile. He is smart, sweet and we totally adore him. So, without further ado, here's our new puppy, Jimmy.

We hope to train Jimmy to take over Rowdy's duties as a Therapy Dog. His temperament is perfect for this challenging -- but so very rewarding -- career. I'll share pictures of him as he continues to mature. We are blessed to have him in our lives.

Is this Four Legged Jim???????? LOL, we had a Four Legged James who was - by far - one of the most wonderful cats we ever had. I wish you the best of luck with your new guy.

The photos are priceless - but that second one says it all!
