Happy Holidays - 12/24/08 11:59 PM

I wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays. I have really come to appreciate the friendliness, expertise and openess of the people on this forum. I regularly visit several other photo forums, but still look at this as "home". People here openly share the photographic, business and at times personal lives in a supportive environment.

Wishing you all the best!

It has been a great year for the website, and I am glad to see so many people who have made this place there home. I hope that this upcoming year will be a happy, fun and safe one for all.

Dave,
I'll add my Holiday Wishes to yours: for everyone on the forum, please enjoy your Holidays and your families. Today, we're taking our "eldest child", Rowdy, to a lovely Cuban restaurant in Celebration called Columbia where they reserve a table for us outside on the patio and Rowdy gets lots of attention in his Santa Jingle Collar. And, of course, a nice steak dinner prepared by the head chef at Columbia .

Here's hoping everyone else has a lovely Holiday Season and a very successful 2009 in all ways.

Did anyone get anything exciting during Christmas/Hanukkah? I refrained from any purchases until the New Year...but you can always wish...

We got Mario Cart for the Wii. Now we can play online with our family in OK since we didn't get to make the trip this year.

I get everything I need and most things I want during the year, so the holidays are time to try to spoil my wife. She got a Cricut this year.

Nothing photography related though unless you count a new hard drive (SSD) for the computer.

I got new pants, shirt, coat & socks all wool. Warm when wet and quiet in the woods, not loud like the synthetics.

Exciting? I got a concussion and a trip to the ER. For New Years I'm getting a headache. Santa brought me a lump of coal.

Oh, and I got some frames:
