Elements 7 and Vista

I have an older version of Elements, and it does not run on my new laptop. On Adobe's website they say that Version 7 is compatible with Vista (no ref to which one), Microsoft's website says its only compatible on 32bit.

I don't know if Microsoft means that it won't work at all, if it just has lots of random errors, or something simple like it just uses both processors like one, instead of multi-tasking. Does anyone run Elements 7 on a Vista 64bit machine? If so how does it do?

The best place to ask this question is over at the Elements Village forum. There are people who are running Elements 7 on Vista 64 bit machines. A lot of very helpful people there!

I ended up getting it anyways and figured if it didn't work on the laptop I could at least have it on the desktop. I installed it tonight on the laptop (the Vista64 machine) and messed around for a bit, didn't seem to have any trouble. Now I can do some photo editing at work and catch up. I have a long list of stuff to work on.
