BALL AND CUP

BALL AND CUP - 10/24/09 12:17 PM

Hi everyone with James' permission I would like to share a better way I have developed to use a mono pod/tripod.
When I started my photography back in the mid seventies I like most bought a cheap tripod and quickly learned I needed a better one. I have since advanced to the wimberly system and markins ball which is fantastic, for landscapes. I used a mono pod but soon learned it is very cumbersome and stiff, which has caused me to develop the ball and cup. The ball attachés to your camera and the cup attachés to your mono pod allowing complete flexibility and freedom of movement while giving the stableness of the mono pod and holding the weight of a 10/ 15 lb. camera and lens. This works fantastic for birds and shoreline shooting especially from a boat, also great for sideline sports. Here is a pic , if you need more information just go to my web site www.branhamphoto.com --check it out you'll like it.
Your questions and comments are welcome
Thanks Randall
