Help Describe NWP

Help Describe NWP - 11/17/10 05:05 AM

Hey Everyone,

We are in the process of a link exchange with Hunts Photo. I need a 2-3 sentence description of the forum. Currently don't want to get stuck with, "The Nature, Wildlife and Pet Photography Forum is a community of photographers who have a passion for Nature, Wildlife and Pet Photography."

Anyone care to help? That sounds awfully redundant.

Thanks
James

Thanks

From facebook:

"NWP - An online community of Nature, Wildlife and Pet Photographers. All skill levels welcome."

Thoughts? LOL, is that it in a nutshell?

From my friend, Jeff Caplan, from the Digital Wedding Forum. I like this even better. Thoughts?

"A pet and wildlife photography forum featuring interviews with top experts, gear reviews, and 400,000 posts."

I would add the word 'friendly' to your descriptions. There may be a rare instance of not-friendly, but this place is a nicer place than MOST other sites.

Flora and Fauna, domestic and wild, from Casual to Pro?

LOL - awesome, Roman. That sums it up well - though it might be a bit cerebral to some.

I think I am going to go with a cross of these elements - thoughts??

"Fauna and flora - domestic and wild! Friendly forum members, Casual to Professional, featuring interviews with top experts, gear reviews, and over 40,000 posts"

You might want to mention the word 'photography' in there somewhere.

LOL, I am back to Jeff's thing again. You are right, Preston. I did add 'friendly' though.

How about ... "A pet and wildlife photography forum featuring interviews with top experts, gear reviews, and 400,000 posts from above average, good looking, smart photographers."

This reminds me of my corporate days when we could while away the hours coming up with a Mission statement by committee :-)

I have to agree, this is the warmest, friendliest forum I have ever been on. I would have to say that the rare instances of Non-Friendly would be more accurate being called "Exasperation!" than unfriendly.

How about " Welcome to NWP, a forum dedicated to Nature, Wildlife and Pet photography, a friendly community of photographers of all skill levels working to share ideas, images and knowledge"?

Hey Everyone,

Thank you for your input! We sent the material to Hunts a couple of days ago. LOL, that was an exercise that I just did not expect. It seems like such a silly and small thing, but it took a lot of mental effort, and I am thankful to all who contributed.
