Planning For More Puppies - 06/17/11 08:50 PM
Our last litter was 18 months ago and it produced our current puppy girl, Moxie. Mom is Juneau (Ch Annihaus Midnight Sun) who we also bred. Yesterday, Juneau came into heat and we now have to opportunity to breed her for the last time. We co-own Juneau with Maisie and Ron Braswell and they have agreed to let us breed her to Max (Ch Beachwalker Rowdy To The Max CGC). Juneau is a Rowdy granddaughter and Max is a Rowdy son out of his last litter. This breeding gives us the best chance of producing a Rowdy Jr. or a Rowdette, something that we have longed for ever since Rowdy passed away 2 years ago. We were unfortunately unable to collect Rowdy so Max is the only direct link to his daddy. And Max is the most physically similar to Rowdy of all of his offspring. Max also has all of his health clearances, Hips Excellent as does Juneau, Hips Good.
Here's a composite I put together of moving shots featuring Rowdy at 10 years of age, Max in the middle at 6 years of age, and Juneau at 2 years of age. We think these puppies have an excellent chance to have outstanding Conformation, excellent movement and, of course and most importantly, Rowdy's incredible temperament.
And don't forget that once the puppies are born, you will be inundated with puppy pics . Enjoy.
