Going to Maine!

Hey Everyone,

Chanthee and I are finally doing the Maine trip that we planned in July. While the puffin nesting season appears to be pretty much 'done,' we will still make an attempt and hopefully see some of them while we are away.

The trip will be cool because my parents will also be up there during that time - so hopefully we will be able to get some breakfasts in together after T and I do sunrise in the mornings. Two Cats Cafe and Cafe This Way - here we come!

I am writing from a Maine rest stop, eating ice cream and drinking coffee. Life is good, . We left RI early this morning, stopping in Worcester, Massachusetts to see our friend Jeff rowing in his heat (Masters, heavy weight) of a regatta. That was my first experience at a crew event, and I must say it was fun to watch.

We are back on the highway...the traffic has been a total nightmare. A 5 hour drive will probably take 7 hours. I will probably miss sunset tonight.

Lol of course, i did set the tent up in rain last night...and of course, have not taken 1 photo yet.

So, what's the weather like up there in God's country? Looking forward to seeing some images but mostly wanted to wish you a good vacation with much fun, friends, family and photography -- hope that's enough alliteration for you .
