Lovely article on Kenya visit and fine shots. The leopard is a beauty, and the portrait of the Samburu also. It's always disturbing to read how some of the wildlife are no longer in balanced numbers. When I was lucky enough to work in Nairobi for a couple of years - about thirty years ago, even the close-to-town Nairobi National Park had groups of lions. We could simply drive out after city work of an evening to see them getting revved up to go hunting. It is good to see the flamingos again in such large numbers on the lakes. I agree with your father it is the ultimate country to travel through, and I still cannot look at captive African animals in a zoo situation without feeling absolutely sickened by the wrong of it.

Thanks again for the window onto Kenya, just magic.

Hey PC,

Thank you for the thoughts on the article. Par spent a lot of time working on the piece. There was lots of 'back and forth' with the article, and he was very patient as it was months ago when we started this.

Cheers

I sure enjoyed it as well. One of the few times something made me wish to visit there. Isn't that one great outcome from a photograph?

Thank you very much. I hope to return, maybe next year, and then take my own kids with me.
