Wildflowers and Antelope

Wildflowers and Antelope - 05/16/07 03:23 AM

The panhandle has more yellow wildflowers now than I can ever remember, went out to get a few shots and saw a herd of antelopes among the flowers, as I was setting up and my new 2 month old grandson thru a fit, I reckon the antelope never heard such a squalling fit cause they just trotted right up to about 30 yards or so and just stood there trying to figure it out. Now I know they are a curious animal and I had called them in to 100 yards or so with a coyote call, but never this close. guess I will have to go try for the flowers tomorrow.

Maybe you should record one of those 'squalling fits' and you could call them in anytime you wanted!

Outstanding image of that pronghorn. They are difficult to get close to and you made the most out of that opportunity.

Dick:)
