2 more 500 vr and TC 1.4 duck shots - 03/18/08 07:16 PM

here's two more shots NO PP, these are straight from the camera, no sharping or any post production work. I was surprised to see the hen looking at me. . . I dont remember this when I shot it. These birds fly at 50 mph so they really are just a blur! For these shots I had the lens and camera on to Carbon 3371 fiesol, with leveling base, spiked feet and a King Cobra head. . .

Hey Tony,

These are spectacular. I particularly like the second shot with the duck's head looking towards the camera and the other duck. It is impressive that there is no post processing at all.

thanks james, I agree with you. It's all in camera, I had to start messing with the in camera settings of the d300 and shooting jpg fine in order to get things working fast enough. I am very impressed with the d300's ability to process jpg's. I too was very surprised. . .

Just was going through some shots and found this one. They are American Wigeons, except the one on the left with the red head, that's an Eurasion, very rare bird. . . .
