Help with ID

Ok so I saw this thing flying around the flowers. By the way it was flying thought that it was some type of hummingbird. Well after looking at the pictures does not look like a hummingbird to me. Can someone help with what it is? I live in Northern VA.

It is, indeed a hummingbird moth. It has a close relative, the bumblebee moth, that mimics the bumblebee.
