I had a very neat opportunity the other night to photograph this cute little owl. I havent seen too many shots of this species at night so I thought I'd post this one.

Very nicely shot Glenn, you use a flashlight to focus? That's what I've done in the past...could have used three hands!

Awesome shot. We dont get to see many birds like this here in the UK unless we go to the zoo. Do you regularly see owls out and about?

This image really says " WHO! " Excellent job. Did you put a flashlight on the owl first to set up the shot?

I love the shot too. I like it better without the upper branch, all dark but thats just me. The upper branch does frame the subject, but me I like the dark better. Your bird though. I never can find them owls myself so I'm just jealous how do ya find em?
