From this past weekend when the sky started to clear off, there's plenty of icepack on Lake Michigan but spring is just around the corner.

That is rather remarkable. Very beautiful photo! Thanks for sharing. BTW, what are those two structures in the background? A suspension bridge?

Those two towers in the background are light towers that mark the channel into Lake Macatawa from Lake Michigan. On the top of each tower is a light, one red (on the left in the photo) the other green. When you are in Lake Michigan at night (and it is very dark)it is good to be able to see where the channel is located for boats coming into the channelway

Boats approximately quit coming into the harbor in Dec. and start again in April when the ice is off. In our harbor the Board of Public Works receives coal, there are also cement/gravel docks as well as docks that receive steel from crushed cars.

Love this also, I like how the texture of the ice compliments the texture of the clouds.
