My conquest...

I've been after this one, for 2 months. I finally was able to get in close enough, this morning to get a decent shot, of him. The elusive "Blue Heron". I had to shoot through a opening in the tree line, via the shadowing, in the bottom, left corner.

Thank you. I took this in a flooded lagoon, close to the Iowa River. I had to sneak in through tall grasses, and brush to get to him, as he was tucked into the backside of the lagoon.
