Late fall hike

Late fall hike - 11/01/11 04:19 AM

From a peak @ 8400 ft, short for the Wasatch Front. I was staying at low elevation
to stay in the color zone.

A view of Salt Lake City from the peak, Grandeur Peak. The Great Salt Lake, behind the city and our airport. The peaks in the lake are an island, Antelope Island.

Thanks for sharing, Marty. I think the 3rd of the series is my favorite. Glad to see you still have fall going on where you are going. I feel like we are just beginning to get there...

There are two places I find myself drawn to in this world: The coast and the mountains. I believe I could be content living at either. Thanks for the lovely autumn views. Very nice.

Thank's - Bob, check my web page for ocean/ mountain related
photography. I started with underwater shooting, and it grew
to the mountains, as my major themes.

Thank's both for the comments. I had some challenges with the sun and haze that day, but not too bad.
