A Couple Of Mule Deer Bucks

A Couple Of Mule Deer Bucks - 12/15/11 04:52 PM

Since we have another snow storm coming I wanted to go out and check for elk tracks and then I will go back to look for new ones after the storm. With the snow we have had so far its time for them to start moving down to their winter feeding grounds and if I pay attention I can get a few as they go thru the valley. I did use my crow call and my Hoochie Mama call on these two bucks that I found while looking for Elk Tracks.

OK - what is a "Hoochie Mama" call? BTW, one of the links is not working.

That's is pretty awesome. I had assumed it was something you were making up. It is incredibly descriptive!

I have some duck calls that I use for dogs, but that is the extent of my experience with them. :P

The reason I use wildlife calls is to get the subjects attention but not to scare him.
