Glassy Atlantic Ocean

I never imagined that the Atlantic Ocean could be so completely calm. I took this on my whale trip last week with my new (to me) Nikon D3s. grin At this point, we were returning from the Great South Channel and were about 20 miles east of Nantucket Island.

That's OK, James. I've not been around much either.

As for this image, my niece doesn't like it that much. She thinks there is no real focal point in it. She has a point. But, when you're out in the middle of the Atlantic, and the ocean is glass-like, that really was the focal point. Nothing else. And, I was playing with my new (to me) Nikon D3s. Great camera, btw....

Amazing shot!

This ocean seems to be very calm just good for the relaxation.
