Upper Manhattan

Took this the other night while out walking Mahkayla. This is a salt marsh that fills up and drys out with the tides. The night before I had an awesome reflection on the ice flows. I did not think I was going to like this, but I really enjoyed it upon reflection.

Thanks, Roger. I was out there the night before and I had an awesome composition. The trick is that the bridge is lit up by the lights at Columbia University...so if they shut out the lights, I lose my reflection and my illumination.

I went out the night before after seeing an amazing image - and had the lights shut off before I got my camera. I went out the other night and it was an entirely different scene...instead of ice, I had water coming in to the marsh...no reflection, and a floating iceberg.

LOL, it was definitely 2nd place, but I had a good time shooting the scene, and honestly, I liked the end product. :P
