Mike the Marmot (15)

Mike the Marmot comes out to sunbath almost every morning. What I am finding out with Mike is if I get there early and park and wait he is pretty laid back. If I am late and he already is out he heads down into the rocks. Almost every time I use my crow call real soft he looks towards the call sound, he ignores the call if I do it loud. Why ??? I have no idea.

This set is probably different than most Marmot photos you have seen. He is relaxed and doing his thing.
