Hey Jim! Thanks for the trip through California! May I ask where on the coast line those shots were taken from?
Thanks

Hi James:
Sure, the trees and the Redwood burl were taken along the AH-PAH Interpretive Trail located towards the North end of the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway, which is a ten mile ALT U.S. 101 that runs through the old growth forest in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.
The Elk were wandering through the meadows in Prairie Creek Campground in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. The National Park Service and the California State Parks run the National & State Redwood parks together.
The Battery Point Lighthouse is located in Crescent City, CA.
The coastline shot was taken from the Requa Road Viewpoint just off of US 101 near Klamath, Ca. (I think)
If I had remembered how to clear the memory on my GPS Tagger, the grid coordinates would have been embedded in the EXIF data. But, I had a brain freeze.

Hey Jim,
That's really cool! I had assumed the images were all taken fairly far from each other.

That whole chunk of coast North of San Francisco is just so magnificent. Some really nice images here Jim. I'd love to get back up into that area sometime soon.
Thanks for sharing,
Jim
