Couple of deer portraits - 07/27/06 11:50 PM

Hi, this is my first post to this forum and I am already very impressed with the quality of images posted. Here's one of my favorite doe shots...note the incredible eye lashes.

Also a very handsome young buck.

Hey Scott, again welcome.
Thanks for sharing, it is always nice to see close-ups of deer. I have them up here in PA too, but I haven't the patients to sit and wait for them to get this close. Nice gallery by the way, it will take me a while to dig through all the images.

Thanks very much Jeff. Fortunately we live out in the country on heavily wooded land with a small pond and stream. Many of my deer images are taken through my home office double paned window. Often I just glance up from my desk and there the deer are. Of course it helps to have a 400mm lens and a couple of TCs.
