Hawk In Hoar Frost

Minus 18 degrees f. I was concerned about my camera battery but my Canon 1DX had no problem. Heron Lake is now froze over so no more eagles for a while. I am thinking they are headed further South.

I love the hoars frost photos, Roger. They add a huge amount of context and drama to the photo.
