This guy is called Mr Nasty. Last year there were 9 swans at the pond. He and his mate had a nest along with another male and female. One day, a friend witnessed him killing the other male, chasing the female away and then breaking up the eggs. Unfortunately his mates eggs never hatched last year. This year at the pond, its only him and his mate and one other male that he keeps driving off, hopefully he won't kill that one. His mate is sitting on eggs tho.

I think Bill very much has the right of it, unfortunately. As to the image - great pose. The one critique is that I wish the head was not so much in shadow - however, it definitely adds an impression of a villain given the pose, and of course, the story.
