Tuesday March 3, 2009 I am going back down to Homer Alaska to photograph the Eagles again. Last week I went down to Homer to photograph the best BIF photo that I could. I think I succeeded. This week I am going to let you tell me what type of shot I should get.

My request: Landing or taking off where you can see the perch.

Good luck and have fun.

Just dont try to lure them in with a frosty can of Duff beer. :~)

I am sure any hunting shots would be awesome....look for the drama. Squables between birds often are quite awesome....as well as somthing unique with multipul birds...that will take some serious patience.

Speaking of luring with beer here's a nice fellow in Prince Rupert guarding the entrance to a bar.

Dozing off and falling out of tree.

Midair fight for fight for food.

Stealing salmon from Grizzly.

Too early for mating and hatchlings. Grizzly doesn't come out of hibernation until May. Where I am photographing, there are no trees. So the midair fight for food would be possible.

Nice, David. Who wins these? The possessor, the attacker, or the bystander?
