These with a Nikon 55-200. On my fairly new back-up camera, a Nikon D40, really like it.
Young Jacky landed on the deck - we don't feed or encourage them as it makes them too easily taken advantage of (as it is they breed in two trees very close to the house).

First shot f4/60th, 55mm

Second shot f5/80th 200mm.
Both (obviously) hand held and I shouldn't even think of doing it.

Hey, that is pretty good considering the shutter speeds that you were photographing at. How do you find the noise characteristics of the D40 - is that a 6 MP or a 10 MP chip?
