Hey Everyone,

These started off as an an engagement series between the young woman and her husband. They are both dog people and wanted to include their pets in the photographs. These shots were taken in Central Park.

I had mentioned in the past a technique I use for my portraits incorporating a video light instead of a flash. As the day was overcast, I used a Bescor video light to warm up the face of the young woman.

Thank you. I learned this technique while out with the Digital Wedding Forum's convention two years ago. A photographer, named Yervant, used his assistant to light the couple up. I have been doing it ever since to provide syrupy warm light when ideal light has not been available.

It's a good technique, I'm surprised more people don't do this. Your shots are really great James.
