Another from the FL trip. D200 w/ 300mm f4 and a 1.4x teleconverter, tripod, and Better Beamer flash extender. With nice sidelight, kept the fill flash minimal while this guy tolerated me for about an hour.

I had not seen this earlier. It is a pretty cool photo. The colors of the bird are something I have never seen before.

It is remarkable how different the adult looks compared to the juvenile.
